2016 brought great changes in health care including:
- MACRA: the move away from fee for service which incentivized volume to payment that incentivizes outcomes through value based care
- Increased interoperability: the move from information stored in silos to information that is shared across organizational boundaries
- Personalized Medicine: the core IT foundations are being created to help the industry progress toward a learning health system, one that takes into account the patient’s entire health history, genetics, and other information and uses analytics to better personalize health care and predict health outcomes
2017 marks a milestone year for 21st Century Edge as we celebrate our 20th year of providing leading edge healthcare management consulting services for interventional pain physicians, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers.
In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, we have completely revised our website and simplified our product offerings. We are focusing on our core business of Consulting Services and are saying goodbye to The Billing Edge, The Diagnosis Edge and The Training Edge.
